Darren made it through surgery well and is doing fine. I am sure Desi will want to update everyone herself this afternoon. I just wanted to pass this word alon to all who had been praying. Thanks for the prayers!! Once again God proved how good He is!!

Thanks for the update. So often on these type boards, you don't hear the outcome as soon as you'd like. This is such a great place and congrats to this family!!

Praise God that everything went well! But of course, we knew it would. I find it sort of coincidental that this happened today, as I've had them on my mind. We went a coupla days ago to find one of their honeymoon commemorative boxes. I can't stop thinking what an awesome way that is to honor not only their union, but the kinds of common interests that brought them together in the first place. BTW, we didn't get the box; it's in the top of a gazebo, and there was a couple of ladies in it. We waited for over an hour and they would never leave. We'll just have to go back, and we'll say a prayer together in a place where they have also been.

Glad to hear it! We'll keep praying for a quick recovery from surgery and for staying healthy from here on!

Just to echo what hawkeye said, Darren came through his surgery fine. He ate some Chick-fil-a (not suprising to anyone who knows him well), watched some CSI NY, and is getting ready for bed. The surgery lasted only a fraction of the time the first one did and we were sent home much quicker. He is definatley doing much better than he was this soon after his first surgery. So, we are looking forward to a quicker, more complete recovery now.

Thanks for all your prayers, as I am certain they surrounded Darren and his doctor today.

And, this is only the start to what is going to be (I hope!!!) a great year for us :)
