hummm...
I have never had that trouble with a line...
are you using the correct side of the PZcut?
the side marked with the grade A or B is the WRONG side.
however...i carved the wrong side before and you can wipe gently with acetone or my "napalm" as wassamatta calls it (LOL...I'm sure you could search the messgae boards for that) and it smoothes it out too.
but sertiously...
the wrong side of PZcut has the grade marked on it.
when I get mine...I mark the grade in all corners on the back and make a couple of jiggly lines on it just so I can always tell which side is which.
other than this...
I don't know what could cause it unless it was stored against something that kinda creased it

Yes, that is the extrusion line. It runs about 3/4 of an inch along the WRONG side of PZ Cut. Do as Dixie and I do...and mark all over the back of the wrong side of PZ Cut as soon as you get it..and you won't have this problem. Also be careful how you store it. Nothing on top of it, or you will dent it.

And it is also true that with the grade B material, there is some sort of imperfection on the carving face of the material that you will have to work around. Sometimes that flaw is a groove in the material, sometimes there are little bubbles or dings. Usually, a light sanding or a swipe of Dixie's napalm will take care of it, but if it is too deep, you just need to realize that's why it was at the grade B price and work around it. The latest batch of orange PZ Kut (the one I am in the process of inspecting and grading) has a set of grade B pieces that are, well, for lack of a better word, groovy! LOL! I also have a couple pieces of white this tiime that are just begging to be turned into textured backgrounds, because they're not clear enough to qualify for grade B. It happens sometimes. They just go into my personal scrap pile and I do what I can with them! ;-)

Well, it's been working, right?? If it looks good, it probably is good! LOL!
