I've done that. Usually after I ate my lunch and before my lunch hour was up. I don't do it anymore because now I have an awesome light at home and can't stand the light at work.

Well I carve at work at my second job. My second job is working at the Carrier Dome box office. They bring us in 2 hours before a game starts, and we don't start selling until an hour before the game starts. So it's a lot of sitting around and waiting, but behind a nice counter with good lighting. I tell people that I took that job so someone would pay me to carve stamps!

Alright an honest answer to the question (although not really sure you were looking for an honest answer). We sometimes make hitchhikers out of the larger bits of speedball barf, etc. The little schnards often get tossed all over the floor to be dragged all over the house and eventually, at some point in time, vacuumed up.

i'm liking the "snard" thought. Also the dander. Now i'm really wondering what the "official" name is. i understand about using the biggr snards for cooties and they like. But those little itty bitty pieces of...PZ snot? The pink stuff plaque? The mastercarve mush?

I didn't realize there was a SB plant in Statesville. That's my home town. Have you tried to get "samples" from them?

Dumpster diving sounds like a great way for us to get together for our Mini Meet here in Statesville. How 'bout a plant near there? Sounds only appropriate.

You know, what a great idea- a SPEEDBALL plant at the SPEEDBALL plant! HA! That's even a cool name for a box. Of course it is on SPEEDBALL RD as well..........
Yes, I've talked with the marketing director there-she had never heard of letterboxing, but now she has.
Also, for everyone out there I asked the infamous question " WHY IN THE WORLD DO THEY STILL MAKE THE CRUMBLY WHITE STUFF??" She said they ask themselves the same questions b/c the stuff is so terrible, but apparently there are some artists out there who use it for whatever reason they their sales warrent keeping the product in their line.
They were very nice folks to work with!

I think we should call it B.O.B.

Standing for something like: Bits Of Boxes

Or perhaps B.A.P: Bits And Pieces.

I'm partial to Bob (or Fred if we can find the right acronymn)

..and I was wondering...do we have a recycling program? Would Webfoot ever want shavings/dust/etc back?

Not knowing how the stuff is made in the first place, I gotta wonder if there's a step in the cycle that would by like remelting crayon pieces.

ROFL... like when you take bags back to the grocery store and get .25 off your bill...

I am picturing the scene from Miracle on 34th Street where they dump bags of mail on the judge's desk... only it would be Webfoot burried in bags of returned bits of PZ dust!!

Poooooor Webfoot, she'd get lost!!

No, to the best of my knowledge, there isn't a recycling program. There is, however a pre-cycling program. I think it is called.... Cooties!
