Stamp cleaner cereal
Board: Miscellaneous Oddities

I'm sitting here, cleaning up a stamp to put the finishing touches on an image...I pull out my bottle of stamp cleaner, give the stamp a douse...
and on a whim, i sniffed.
I swear, i swear, i swaear...my stamp cleaner smells like Fruit Loops.

Ok, CQ... keep sniffing... maybe Toucan Sam will appear and help you carve your stamp...
{Knock, Knock... Kitten? Um, I think maybe someone needs a little better supervision...}

oh my, Fruit Loops? Ok, I admit it, curiosity just got the better of me (that along with a 2 hour snow delay.) My Memories rubberstamp cleaner smells like roses with a touch of baby powder.

Yes there is. Here is the one I use:

No need to buy it online though - places like Michaels and Hobby Lobby carry it. It works especially well with metallic inks, which can be hard to remove.

I bought a bottle of stamp cleaner at Hobby Lobby; and it says on the bottle that it is bubble gum scented.

*sigh* mine says nothing about being Fruit Loop scented.
Darnit.
A fine-tip sharpie can fix that, though :D

A fine tipped Sharpie can fix a sealed endictment too, but I'm not going to sniff it till I smell Fruit Loops.

I find a Sharpie can fix a lot of things on paper and else where but nothing a vicodin can't do if you need it that bad ....; ) And you don't get light headed and have to breathe heavy...unless you have phone calls to make ! hehehe
man I miss those days before caller ID...., the crank call is a lost art....progress I guess.
putting cap back on sharpie,; )

teekasue, you may need to do more than put the cap on the Sharpie. Open a window or go outside for a little while maybe. ;)

Huffing would be the term! At least it is not white out, dry erase, sharpies, or glue. By the way white out is the huffing substance of choice for today's students. Check those bookbags parents.

The latest on the 6th grade play ground is the hyper ventilate game, they huff and puff then a pal shoves on their chest up against the handball court till they see stars...it is the scariest thing...I get an interesting view being out on the yard during lunch, the younger kids are into the weirdest things. Huffing is harder to do on our campus at least because they have banned the things that are used for it , of course you can find them in every classroom because the teachers are aloud to have it on campus! I have always found administrations lack of REAL concern for THAT kid to be a concern. IF they know the kids are using these thngs to get high and are banning them on campus THEN BAN THEM ! Don't have this ugly grey area that gives every jacked up kid the opportunity to take advantage of the loop hole.
Scary times!

Watch out for air-in-a-can to clean dusty keyboards. I hear this is popular too.
I have to sit down when huffing on my stamps. I get dizzy quickly.

You can check the lable but I think *air in a can* is just nitrogen or carbon dioxide. They are inert and the only problem would be if a person inhaled enough to displace the air in their lungs and didn't exhale.

This whole thread is reminding me just how long it's been since I've gotten out my Mr. Sketch markers and actually gone letterboxing.
Cherry, Blueberry, Mint, Lemon, Orange, Cinnamon (which really smells like Root Beer), Grape, Licorice. Mmmmmm.
A lot like Fruit Loops...which would be a great trail name. And a great box series name.....no wait on that last one ...there is ....out along near Mount Hood, OR and the lovely Columbia River Gorge.
preboxed (feeling fruity - loopy is "normal-ish".
and who treated herself to an online PREsent of Apple Valley Marionberry Habenero jam as a result of that box series last year at this time.. Oh dear it's almost gone already. Time to reorder!

kitten,
I am glad I was able to play a part in ratting out CQ... makes my heart all warm and squishy to know that, because of my little blog, CQ was caught and shall now have to suffer the dire consequences. (You WERE planning on inflicting "dire consequences", weren;t you?)
