I can't believe it! I actually got an order today to carve a stamp for someone--like for money!! Somebody pinch me! That was something that hadn't even entered my mind. I made a couple of bookplates for Christmas presents and one of my brother's friends wants one now.

I love carving so much that thought of somebody paying me to do it almost makes me laugh!

I would love to find someone to pay to carve me two stamps, one is a sheltie and the other is a dragon. I have just started letterboxing and getting ready to learn to carve, but sure it will a long time for I'm ready for anything like those.

In fact, I just recently carved a dragon. I've also recently carved a dog, but it wasn't a sheltie.

Thank you for the offer, but someone has contacted me willing to do this. Everyone here has been so nice. I am going to learn how to carve myself, but would be nice to have a personal stamp that is carved instead of store bought. If I can't get this carving thing down, I might have to take you up on it in the future. (smile)
