Wow, a non-festive theme. Been a while since I've seen that.

Perhaps we need to find Ryan some clip-art of Presidents ... or MLK ...? ;-)

I see that in January the following are observed:

National Blood Donor Month
National Braille Literacy Month
National Hobby Month
Hot Tea Month
National Oatmeal Month
National Soup Month

I'd love to see an AQ theme that combines all/most of them, or at least... Hobby Month.

Kidding really, just wanted to point out some less-than-usual holidays.

Actually, unless I'm really mis-remembering these days, I think Ryan had a blood donor theme up last year perhaps?? Or maybe that eggnog I had over the holidays is still working on me...

I think celtic quinn designed the blood donor theme. As a reminder you can put up any theme you like by going to the drop down menu at my page and clicking on preferences. Although I don't see the themes that CQ and Dixie designed up there....Dixie has some football themes and a gorgeous mountain theme. Maybe she will post a link to them again!

I've got the football one up on mine.

Not sure if it's the same one your talking about though.

This is what I used to get it up:)

Celtic Quinn created that theme, and I used it for a week or so after adding support for people to create their own AQ themes as an example of what someone else did for a change. =)

Not everyone liked all the reds and pinks, though, and some people didn't seem to like blood on their monitors, so I don't plan to use the theme again. It was meant to be a one-shot deal to show people that, yes, YOU can create your own themes. =)

So is there a Ground Hog Day theme? We weren't into LB at this time last year. I am fond of Ground Hog Day, because my bosses at Moses Cone Hospital (Greensboro, NC) would have a party then instead of at Christmas each year. It was a blast. I plan to make my own Ground Hog Day cards and send them out this year, since I never got around to doing Christmas cards this past month.
I think the next holiday is MLK day.

OK, ground hog day is big, MLK day is big, but does anyone out there celebrate Buzzard Day? I know that there must be some folks from in or around Hinckley, OH. It is March 15. We started celebrating in college and I just haven't forgotten it.
For those of you who may NOT know- that is the day all the buzzards go to Hinckley, OH.
And yes, here in NC on the days prior you can see buzzards gathered and in route......
Boy, that should would be a good BOX..... hmmmmmmmmmm.....

I've often said that if I ran an office, our Christmas party would be mid-January each year for several reasons:

* There are waaaay too many parties going on in December, not nearly enough in January.

* Held just before the Christmas holidays, too many people miss the party because they've taken a few vacation days and left early.

* In January, you can re-gift without having to hold onto the gifts you don't really want for an entire year.

The big one around here is International Talk Like A Pirate Day. September 19, I think.
