I didn't read the article but I saw a headline about a Denver CO woman selling snow on ebay. I wondered if Preboxed had anything to do with it.

I don't know, but as of last night when I looked at ebay, one unit of snow was going for $54! Question is...... if you're shipping it, how to keep it from freezing?

Perhaps the ski resorts here in New England can have the snow shipped....... since it's too warm to even make snow with the snow making equipment!

they are not saying the snow will get to you frozen, they are saying that it will be the melted variety of snow (water) and that you have to re-freeze when you get it!
they will make a fortune! like the ghost (cane) that someone sold on e-bay!

Surely you jest... I'm going to check this out. Hopefully someone won't really pay good money for what comes out of the faucet anyway.

P.T. Barnum would have loved this!

Not only are they guaranteeing you get water, they tell you straight out that the "snow" is already melted. Six people have bid...

At least the Las Vegas snowball is going to be shipped in dry ice to keep it frozen. It's going for $99 at the moment.

Nope wasn't me! But was told the listing said "Must pick up - Dump truck recommended." Bet ya anything there were no local takers!

Plenty of folks, locally, have been making the news here by having "Free Snow" signs in their front yards.

So let me put out my own virtual sign/start the bidding for the AQ community, since Shiloh brought it up...

FREE SNOW! - MUST Pick Up - Dump Truck highly recommended! Take as much as you want...please!

Bids taken via AQ mail...;-)

Here's the ebay auction listing which I see they've decided to re-run. It's pretty funny and I note from the listing the following:

Quote Later this week we'll be offering a pdf offering of all the questions and answers from Auction 1...sort of the Rest of the Genuine Colorado Snow Story. Some of you are absolutely hysterical. Check back!

Looks like I forgot to put the URL link to the Ebay auction in my earlier post. Bidding is up to $40.00 for the latest auction.

Even I'm speechless at the concept of dehydrated water.....
