Quote i had a third party website send an email notice to someone at their atlasquest.net email address, and i'm wondering how long it takes to go through.... (i know.. that depends on the third party... but assuming they send it out immediately...)

Unless it's from an e-mail address that Atlas Quest recognizes, AQ won't forward it to your AQ mail. Helps keep out spammers. Assuming this third party website doesn't have an account on AQ, you'll never get the e-mail. The e-mail address at 3Ms@atlasquest.net is meant for other AQ members to contact you, not for non-AQ members to contact you.

Quote i sent myself an email from my home account.. to 3Ms@atlasquest.net a little while ago and it hasnt shown up yet.... should i be worried?

AQ checks the atlasquest.net account once every ten minutes. So it won't make it into the AQ mail system immediately, but it should never take longer than 10 minutes to show up once it reaches the Atlas Quest mail server.

Depends on the address Webfoot uses to send the e-mail. If it's the same one she has registered on AQ, it'll show up as coming from her. =)

Ah- that explains why, when my home email went down & I gave out my "AQ email" as a backup to my mom & sister the emails never arrived. Note to self not to do that again. :)

Thanks for clearing that up. I just assumed that all email was out to get me.

I guess I should stop putting my AQ "email address" on my plants then as well- oops. :)

That does make better sense though- otherwise I guess you would be quite clogged wouldn't you?

Okay, this has now been fixed. :) I changed the address registered on AQ to be the same one that sends out notices from stampeaz.com, so this shouldn't be a problem in the future. Thanks for letting me know the remedy, GT! :)
