I am looking forwar to seeing "The Doctor" from the first season of Doctor Who, though! I hope he joins the cast in Jan. I was very upset with that show when they changed him!

This show keeps getting better and better. January is going to be a cool month, folks.

But, Peter's dream could be off a bit. I mean, most people see themselves as the main character in their dreams, even when watching from the sidelines of the same dream. Maybe it was Sylar ( he did pop into Peter's dream in the cell ) that absorbed the Radioactive guy's power, but because Peter was dreaming it, he saw himself????

That show makes you think all kinds of weird stuff!!!! LOL!!!! Excercise for the brain!

Every monday night I have to avoid reading anything on this board. I'm waaaaay over here in Alaska. One hour behind Pacific. But then there's noone to talk to once its over.

I was actually thinking along similar lines. What if when Peter & Sylar "fell" off the high school & Sylar bled all over the place, as Peter was healing himself, Sylars blood got inside him. Since Sylar has altered his DNA, the powers should be in his blood right? So maybe Peter has absorbed the powers of Sylar & perhaps telepathy (psychic connection sort of thing) is one of them. There for it was actually Sylar that would explode, but Peter was sensing it.

I'm trying to avoid the boards over on NBC.com because I don't want anything ruined yet. Though I'll be spending the next 1175 hours or whatever we're down to rewatching the show!

Peter was having premonition-type or powers-insight-type dreams from the very first episode of the series-- I believe it is the first scene of episode one-- check it out on TIVO if you have it. He didn't get it from Syler or his blood.

THe FBI girl confirmed that the only blood they found on Peter was his own blood. They tracked Syler's blood elsewhere.

Don't forget that Peter had the moderately telepathic dream of flying with Simone's father as he was dying, and the father awoke from his coma to report to Simone that he was dreaming of a conversation with Peter while they were flying.

During the Homecoming episode I didn't see where Peter mimicked any of Sylar's powers, did you? I wonder if that means Peter can only mimic the powers of legitimate "heroes."

As for the character of Eden McCain, it was a strong clue that she was a goner when she was always only listed as a "guest star" on the show. It makes me sad to note that the actor who plays Ando is also always listed as a "guest star."

I'm not so sure that's right-- looks to me they left room for speculation as to whether Sylar complied with Eden's "power of suggestion" to kill himself, and it was through the death of the heroes that Syler was able to take their powers. Perhaps she had enough control and understanding of Syler's ways to at least make sure she destroyed the part of her brain that Syler would try to use.

I thought it was interesting to note Eden McCain's passing remark "If that Haitian could talk...." It suggests that HRG might not even know that he can speak and the Haitian knows more about the heroes than HRG does.

I can imagine lots of ways for the Haitian to turn into a really good guy, none of which will be implemented by the NBC writers. He could occasionally use his powers to get people to forget the events that gave them PTSD, like war veterans and rape victims. That would be an interesting side hobby.

This show is amazing! You can speculate on, and on, and on, and.....well, you know! There are just soooo many ways that all of this can go!

Man, what a cool job!!!

Writer 1: "Hey, I like Rouge from the X-Men, let's make one of our characters like that!"

Writer 2: "Yeah, but just to be different ( so we don't get sued ), let's make it a guy, and he dosen't actually have to suck the life force out of the other person."

Writer 3: Reading a history book...."Man, T-Rex's were cool!! *lightbulb* "Hey, can we work that into the show somehow?!"
