This was one of the best I've ever been too. The combination of DeniseN10ec, M&M, and QP was an unbelieveable team! Denise had every question answered quickly even months prior to the event, the M&M group was on the spot running the pizza money collection, directing, running the auction, helping with the ice cream social, and Quiet Place did one heck of an event stamp!

I also could not believe the clue booklets!! I printed clues since I figured they would just have a handful of new clues that hand not been listed yet-- wrong! It had EVERYTHING!! Talk about making it convenient and easy for the guests!

As soon as I met Denise for an exchange she even tried to help me out by giving me this. Hmmm... think it might work?

There were tons of stamps to enjoy, great clues to cool spots in the woods, a creek to enjoy, a fun auction (this was a very creative idea and a fun way to recoup some of the costs of the event), and enjoyable prizes for all ages.

Afterwards, we enjoyed the after event at the Ice Cream social. There were all kinds of GREAT HOMEMADE ice cream flavors for only a $1 for a big cup!! Knit Wit decided that she needed ice cream BEFORE AND AFTER dinner.

The dinner at the church was a wonderful thing. I was so glad to finally get up there and meet some new folks and have lots of fun with new and old friends.

I almost forgot (okay, I was trying to block it out but couldn't) there was a very obnoxious homage stamp of me at the event.

Being my oblivious self, it took Knit Wit to practically beat me over the head to get me to notice it! It went like this:

KW: I need your new sig. stamp.
Me: Okay.
KW: *opening her logbook to page the homage stamp was on* Do you think it will fit here?
ME: *not even noticing the image she is point directly at* Nope.
KW: *sighing and turning to a clean page*
ME: I could stamp it over something (thinking that I'm being smart).
KW: *Turns back to the page with the homage stamp image* How about RIGHT HERE?!
ME: Huh? What's that? What the.... OMG! Who did that?!!

Later I found out that this stamp was By His Grace (AKA. one of the Twits of Twitterpated) who did it. Yep, she is BAAAAACK...

It was funny watching them trying to get you to see it.....I was wondering if they would ever be successful.

Now about the potion....... I have been signed up at many events you have and kept copying a potion off for your hubbies PT .....You was getting it this time so you would owe me the PT next time ;-). LOL, when I looked for potions that was the nice one....I could have gave you one of the naughty ones.

I too, had a great time at the event. It was my first. We had a great hike up the mountain and just really enjoyed getting to put faces with Trail Names!

I know I'm late to this party post, but I was without internet all last week. Just wanted to give a shout out to all of the planners for Greene Event. Great job folks!!! Clue booklets were so helpful, location beautiful, carvers were clever and people were so nice. Awesome fun to box around the antics of the auction. (Some of you are REALLY crazy!!! Yes, you know who you are!) Thanks again for the hard work.

Special thanks to Tbonenic and Aloha80 for letting the boys and I ride across the creek a couple of times to get a few boxes. My city boys got such a thrill from riding in the back of a p/up!!

SNIPE hunt was a blast!!! Wish we'd had more time to explore the area, but I'm so glad we made the trip up from Atlanta.
