Okay, it seems that not many people believe the truth for some reason... So, I'm going to try to show you how you can know it's true even if you never see it...

Last night there was a "big" update... but, if you read Ryan's blog... he seems to cover it up by saying it was only one or two things that changed... seems like he'd hold out longer for more features for the next big update... It could be that him and Wassa planned to play a joke on us today and worked up a big update to program it so that Ryan and Wassa could tamper with the buttons...

I'm not sure how exactly they made it so random... but, it looks like for a second or two every few minutes (at least earlier this morning), they had it so that it'd appear on every post and anyone who was lucky enough to click on a link to a post at that very second would see it on the post they clicked on... That would explain why it changes back or disappears when you clicked the reload button... Because it would be a different second in time and you'd be reloading to a second when the button is not to appear on every post...

Many people in this thread have said they spotted it... And TG posted a picture that Ryan and Wassa both conveniently think is Photoshopped.... I'm pretty sure Trekkie Gal is just as bad at Photoshop as she claims she is (no offense, TG) ;)

(This is probably a coincidence, but) It's McBoxer's AQ anniversary today... They could be commemorating the birth of a prank a few years ago for April Fools' Day...

I never said it was Photoshopped. The quality is too terrible to be Photoshop. I'd probably guess she used something like Paint which comes for free on every Windows system, and you know what they say--you get what you pay for. =)

The moo buttons aren't one of them. If you need a complete accounting of what all changed, it includes things like changing the About Letterboxing page from www.atlasquest.com/aboutlb/ to www.atlasquest.com/about/

So I had to change all of the links, all over the website, to now point to the new location. It's easier to take down the site long enough to update all of the links rather than have a bunch of broken links during the time it takes to update all of the pages.

I don't have to take down AQ to put in some Moo buttons. *shaking head* That change would have been restricted to only one page, and thus does not need a full website shutdown to update.
