Hello everyone! I'm sorry but I've been M.I.A. from Atlas Quest for quite a while...school, new house, kids....yadda, yadda. Anywho...Thank you all for your responses!! :) Chadams and I are super duper excited :) the big day is tentative right now...October 9th, 2010...I need to finish school first.
SO... :) ...for you ladies wondering out there...as I said we just moved into Chad's father's house (he had to move to Detroit for work and didn't want to sell the house so we moved in...). He proposed on our first night there :) as i was getting the kids into bed he put on my favorite move...The Illusionist (very romantic)...on our huge new tv so we could see how cool it was. So we were watching it and the volume was too low so I asked him to turn it up (thinking he had the remote in his hands like any normal guy) and he got up, walked over to the tv, turned it up and walked back. Instead of sitting back down on the couch he sat on the floor (which I thought was weird) and we started talking about the house (ok, not so weird anymore) then all of a sudden he reached under the couch and pulled out a box and told me that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me :) :) :) so I started blubbering like a baby and called my parents and we crashed like twenty minutes after that. Haha!! We had done so much work on the house...remodeld it ourselves...and moving...we were just beat. So that's my story and now I have a perty ring :)

Oh, the same thing happened to ME, too...twice! They channel set the stones in the wedding band, so I lost two in as many months. I wept BITTER tears, since the ring is made up tiny stones my mom gave me from her favorite pendant, all of which are set around the one stone the Highlander's grandfather gave him when he passed away. It's literally a symbol of both our families together and it was falling apart.
I refused to even wear it after the 2nd lost stone because I was terrified of losing more. So, after a month off my hand, the Highlander secretly took it, got it fixed, then REPROPOSED to me in the kitchen with it ring. This tomboy was one teary-eyed mess after that, I can assure you!
