Seriously....
I have a new doggy... well, we have had her a few short months and we are still learning all about her.
She was a stray. Mojo and I named her Gretchen!
She is a wild eyed, spastic, psycho, hyperactive, sweet, loving, bad hair doggie that LOOOOOOVVEES to play ball.
She's an awesome soccer goalie and softball defensive fielder...
nothing gets by HER ;)

anyway...
she has this ability to climb anything and everything if she thinks there is something up there she wants...
so...I went to get my signature stamp from the place I knew I had put it but it was not there.
I just knew it... I knew deep down that Gretchen had snatched it.
We made an unexpected trip to Atlanta over the weekend and when we got back she had had her way with the house.
First place I looked... in her little hidey hole under my work table turned up a treasure trove of torn papers, chewed socks, tennis balls, softballs, doggie biscuits and my gnawed siggy stamp.

did I scold her...?
of course... but all she did was jump and wag her tail with her usual excited disposition as she waited for me to give the stamp or ball...whatever I could... a good fling down the hallway so she could go in pursuit.

thing is...
I think I am still gonna use this stamp for awhile...
what's a few teeth marks in the rubber but a good story?

Lol and hugs, Dixie! That's funny, but at the same time, too bad for you... I'd keep it in a safe or some super protected area from now on... I'm thinking, maybe in the US National Treasury? Just kidding ;)

I do agree - go ahead and use it for awhile - Gretchen has added her own touch - it'll add a little to the story.

Maybe this was her way of asking for her own stamp?...lol.

I feel your pain... Balto has gotten 3 pairs of my shoes!! Pretty soon I'm going to be Lb'ing barefoot!
But luckily he has not found my stamps!!

Believe me, it may be many years from now but someday you will be looking at that dog bitten sig stamp with tears in your eyes and it won't be because of the damage to the stamp.
