I was so sad when I couldn't join in on the Star Wars swap. We are huge Star Wars fans around here, and missing the swap was torture! At the time, though, I thought it was just too soon after my baby was due, and I didn't think I'd be up to it.

Well, about an hour ago, I received a suspicious package in the mail from Tiger Pride. It was jam packed with Star Wars cards. The package also included several notes wishing me well. Tiger Pride explained, "Your Star Wars friends and I have put together this baby shower gift for you." I am SO surprised, and I'm extremely thankful to be a part of such a fantastic community. You guys ROCK! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Right before I had my baby, my mailbox was flooded with cute little LTCs all decked out in blue. I was SUPER proud of each of these cards, too . . . I plan on adding them to the baby book . . . the first in Ty's collection. You are the most generous and thoughtful group of people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you, Nitrocat, for heading up my first LTC baby shower . . . and thanks to all of you who contributed. I know I've already told you, but you have no idea what these cards mean to me.

I also want to publicly thank mstrwndl for carving a stamp of my baby! Once again, my trip to the mailbox turned out to be a tear-jerking experience. mstrwndl is a stamp-carving master, and he carved my little one perfectly. I was so surprised and grateful to receive this stamp in the mail ~ Wow. Be on the look out for an LTC made with mstrwndl's stamp soon.

Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank my "support group" of LTCers ~ you know who you are. These fantastic LTCers keep in contact with me, and they know what's going on in my life. They pray for me and my family, and they are the first ones I contact in times of joy and sorrow. You are some of my best friends. Although I wouldn't recognize many of you in the grocery store, you are a terrific part of my life. (Isn't it weird how that happens?)

Okay, I'm sorry for getting all emotional on you guys, but I was overflowing with gratitude and joy. It simply had to be shared.
