I started letterboxing almost four years ago with my friend Melodie
She took on the trail name LetterBug.

She only went out with me a few times. But gave it up. She said she was the type who jumped from hobby to hobby.

She did set up some virtuals though based on the Disney parks.
I'm sure some of you remember her from that.

She passed away this morning from a heart attack.
I think she was 46 years old.

She was very dear to me and I feel like I lost a sister.

Ryan, when I get more info, could you post it in the obits?

Oh, I'm so sorry! I actually did a lot of those Disney virtuals when they first appeared, so I remember corresponding with her.

Oh my goodness, SNK! Thank you for letting us all know. Her Disney virtuals were terrific - I even got to ask some questions with the boat captains based on what I learned. In person, she was even more fun. What a terrible loss indeed.

I recognized the Letterbug trailname immediately! She was the one that really did a massive database of Disney virtuals all before the Great Green One made it easy! Those were my first virtuals and I remember corresponding with her about them!

Oh no! I remember Melodie. I got to meet her in person that one time, and I did all of her Disney virtuals . . . and there were a lot of them, back when there weren't all that many virtuals to do.

I always wondered what happened to her.

Oh, man...I had NO idea. I was just looking at the attributes for the icons when I clicked the tombstone and saw her name at the top of the tribute section. I'm completely stunned. Her Disney series was the first I'd ever done and I loved messaging her every time I worked one out. I had really hoped to meet her in Florida someday and now that chance is gone.

Sits & Knits, I wish I could give you the hug you need right now, but just know that we're keeping you and Letterbug's family in our hearts, thoughts and prayers right now...no one should have to lose a loved one so suddenly.
