What a great day for boxing. It is our family rule that if you go with Mom letterboxing you get Ice Cream. So after a few successful finds we headed to the nearest Ice Cream shoppe. And low and behold after saying I wonder if Erik is still working here. My 6 year old says "There he is" and sure enough It was Erik from Survivor! He looks exactly the same. So we go inside and get our Ice Cream and on the way out my son says ever so casually "Bye Erik" just as if they he has known him for years. Well a few minutes he comes and sits down with us at the picnic table behind Screams.

We took photos and he told us stories...It was Awesome.
Well that was our little brush with Fame.

AHHHHHHH Mom! I wish I had gone boxing with so I could have met Erik too! Sounds like a wonderful experience for all of you.

Did he say anything about giving that idol up? :P

I didn't even bring that up. I do wish I would have asked when exactly that was filmed. I bet it was a while ago. He did say he would do it again if asked.
