Try this: Letterboxes > Search Clues > Select State Drop Down List & pick Iceland > Search.

It returned 8 boxes, including two of mine.

Okay I see that

here is another one.
I did an advance search for La Crosse WI and the following box, 377819, does not appear.
https://www.atlasquest.com/results.php?typeId=1&title=La+Crosse%2C+WI+%2815+mi%29&coords=43.81265,-91.252123&rad=15&location=la+crosse+wi

The reason box #377819 isn't showing up in your La Crosse search is because the box is incorrectly located. Click on View Map for it. It's showing up in the Prairie du Chien area, about 66 miles south of La Crosse.

I always lose that piece of paper, so I think the plastic snap-in might work better for me.

When I personally donate stamps, I prefer that they are used as traditional plants. But anything is better than being forgotten in a box.

(And I'm guilty of that for stamps I've received- but I'm trying to get them planted!)

I'm trying to add 3 new boxes. I have made a mess. I want to change my "clue" status from letterboxing.org to AtlasQuest. But, I deleted the box from LB. Now I'm in limbo. Looking for suggestions. Thank you!

Happy trails! =)

Yeah, another bad custom location. This time, the location was actually in a mystery town, in a mystery county, in a mystery state, and in a mystery country. The reason it looked like the box was in La Crosse was because the "name" of the location was entered as "La Crosse, WI".

But as far as AQ could see, it was a mystery location "somewhere in the world" that happened to have the name "La Crosse, WI." And the coordinates put the location of this "mystery town" over 50 miles away from the real town which didn't help matters.

So that's why it didn't show up in the search. It wasn't supposed to based on the provided information.

Clearly, however, the location was entered incorrectly and I fixed it to have a city of La Crosse and in the US state of Wisconsin so it should show up now.

All of the individual pieces of information that make a location do need to be correct for the search to work as expected!

Not sure if this will work or not - but if you delete the clue details - it might delete the location on LBNA if it's in your reserves - but honestly, I have no idea. You might have to delete the whole thing and start over :(

I want to change my "clue" status from letterboxing.org to AtlasQuest.

I'm not sure what this means. The clue status on LbNA is entirely separate from AQ. If you list boxes on both websites, the status needs to be updated separately on both websites.

Linking the two is something I want to do (eventually), but it sounds like you're trying to change something on one and hoping it would change on the other site, but that's not how it currently works.

No. Just copy and paste the comment with the edits you want, then delete the old comment.

I'm looking for anyone who would be interested in boxing together on Friday. I have to be in Rockford IL on Sunday, my cousin is hosting a family gathering honoring his mom on her birthday. Several of my relatives are in their 90s, and everyone of these could be their last. So I am hitting the road early Sunday morning, but since boxes are temporary, I'd like to do some boxing Friday. Anyone interested in joining me?

Linking the two is something I want to do (eventually),

I just found a really old box listed only on LBNA. (happy dance!) so I’m curious about something.

When you get a chance to link the two sites will we be able to log an LBNA only box as a listed find on AQ and not just as unlisted?

I have no idea if that’s even possible or maybe too much of a pain to do……but I am just curious.

EDIT: I know unlisted finds count as finds. I'm just wondering if there would be a point where they could all be together as listed rather than being separated into two different categories.

LBNA Clue Link

Sorry this might not be a bug report but it seems close? I fostered box #22350 which displays "no clue provided" so anyone doing a search which hides boxes with no clues will never see it. But, the box does have a clue on LBNA #19214, it's just not linked. I did add a note to the addendum, but this does not resolve the fact that the box is listed with no clue. How do I fix this?

I click on print and it printed from my printer

I still print clues the same way as always. As far as I can see that has not changed. I click on print and it just prints. If you're having an issue I don't think it has anything to do with AQ.

Maps had to be limited to a paying member feature because Google is an expensive maps host. This is my vague understanding, if you search the boards you will probably find the more technical official explanation from Green Tortuga.
