handicapped?

So after yesterday's event I also checked my boxes to make sure if I said they were handicap accesible that they really were. Then Manly Man, who is getting ready to have knee surgery, comes and asks the following...
"If I have this done, you're not going to take me boxing on the way home from the hospital are you?"
To which I replied..."There ARE handicapped boxes you know! Jeesh...it's just all about you isn't it, dear!"
Some people, I swear...
;)
MHD...who has a very cranky Manly Man on her hands...but seriously, please pray for successful surgery and quick removal of pain! (Thanks!)

prayers going out............
hey, maybe if cranky man is cranky after surgery and doesn't want to do his walking in the hosptial you could plant a temporary box for him that is handicapped accesible....... :J
and then you could remind him of this conversation and let him know you didn't want to wait till the ride home when you could get a jump start on a box while still in the hospital.......

Hmm....pondering this...Not a bad idea, if he was the slightest bit interested in even looking for a box. He'll go along with me (assuming he hasn't just had surgery) AND he even buys me cool boxing stuff, but not a boxer at heart, you know?
MAYBE I can let someone know where he is having surgery and THEY could plant a box for ME to look for while he's there!
OR...maybe the anesthetic will be strong enough that he'll sleep all the way home and I could still stop for one in the wild....
Hmmmm.....
;)

Did you really say that out loud? Poor guy will wake up in the woods with no one in the car and think he is halucinating! He'll fall out of the car trying to wake up and end up hurting the other leg.....then where will you be?
hmmm

Where/when is the surgery happening? Maybe one of your DUMMB friends could plant one for you to seek!

MHD----having gone through more than my share of knee surgery, I cannot imagine your Manly Man is going to be in ANY mood to even let you SAY the word, letterbox, box or even letter---much less come within 100 yards of a letterbox regardless if it's true north or magnetic north! Proceed with caution!!!
GET HIM HOOOOOOOOOOOOME first------->Then go. =)

When is the surgery?
Do we have time to send you a big box full of postals? Maybe that would help you get your letterboxing fix while DH is resting.
