A Voice from Afar

Suddenly there was a shimmer of light, and an almost forgotten voice said -

''Blooming 'eck what's this 'ere parcel on the doorstep !! ? ''

Excitedly, caution was thrown to the wind and the parcel was torn open to see what was inside. This was a near fatal mistake as out jumped a whole group of monsters onto a little tortoise. The shimmer started to dim, as the little tortoise nearly suffocated under the weight of all the monsters. Fortunately, a bunch of hero characters were also in the box, they jumped out too and a great battle was fought. ''Hurray, Hurrah'', - due to all the practice they had last year the Heroes were easily able to kill the monsters and the shimmering tortoise was saved to shine another day.

*Waving* Hi, transatlantic D&D friends :-) I had to find some time from somewhere to get onto the computer to say I never thought I would see the images of the characters which fought those monsters that appeared in all the heroic stories I read last year. How wrong could I be !!

I am thrilled to have copies of all the images involved, alongside the wonderful stories, in such a beautiful handbound little book, complete with comments. I am astounded at the quality of the carving and all the individual ideas for the images and can't wait to show my English letterboxing friends :-) It is amazing how many different ideas can come from each image.

I am sorry I wasn't around for the final battle, but I see another ring is starting up. Real Lifeā„¢ should calm down shortly and so I hope to be around in the audience for the new battles:-)

No worries! Cath of CathCainGwen has been your transatlantic liaison, so she gathered all the heroes and monsters up for you. Glad you weren't hurt in the melee...we'll need you soon!

Speaking of which, are all the characters still moving? I haven't heard anything lately...
