Ok, so I HAVE to share this with y'all. My husband is active duty Army and we are stationed at Ft. Benning in Columbus, GA. He is a Bradley master gunner which basically means he is the commanders right-hand man in a "tank". And I put it like that because for those that don't know what a Bradley is, you will best understand it if I call it a tank.

So, anyway are you ready for this?.....drum roll please......I got to DRIVE one!!!!!! Not only did I get to go for a ride, but I drove one all by myself!!!! It was so awesome! How many people (who aren't in the military) in the world can say they have done that? WOW! It was loud, smelly, and MEAN!!! Hooah! :-)

I just wanted to share my excitement! Have a great week y'all!

That is so cool!!

Did you ever see the episode of Home Improvement where Tim and Jill got to drive a tank? Jill was an amazing driver and Tim... well... Tim did his usual thing! It was a great episode... driving a tank must've been so much fun! *happy for you!*

Moose Lady,
I am glad to hear that your hubby is a Master Gunner for the BIFV...or as the Iraqi's call it...the LASER TANK...the reason for this is the rate of fire for the 25mm is so fast, and with every other round being a tracer...it looks like a laser shooting out of it...plus my experience in Bdad is this, whenever we did a raid, and could produce a brad or 2...the Iraqi National Police we were advising were always a little braver and easier to work with...and they are a blast to ride in...little bumpy...but fun none the less...especially for an old paratrooper like me who prefers helo's or a c130 herky bird...now the newest cadillac w/attitude the us army has is the Stryker IFV...the Iraqi's call it by 2 names...Whispering Death, since it is SO QUIET...and The Beast, because when it stops and the ramp drops...soldiers keep getting out forever...I was always happy to ring up this support for my Iraqi troops...since it showed us working together...the only other support I loved calling was attack aviation...since helo's scare everybody...
Take your kids hunting, instead of hunting for your kids...
