I dated a woman who loved her former identity as a majorette, ie; baton twirler. At 34, she decided that she still "had it" and proceeded to re-discover her baton skills for the two weeks preceding the Seattle Sea Fair. On the day of the parade, she donned her old sequins (yes they did still fit) and waited, draped in a raincoat (it was Seattle, after all), for a marching band to come by that didn't have any baton twirlers. Doffing her coat, off she went, leading a startled, but immediately enthusiastic band for the remainder of the parade. Let's hear it for chutzpah!! heyokah man
