This is a cluster phuque* and it's only just begun. Trump is destabilizing the entire Middle East. He is doing what all of the terrorist groups have been trying to do for decades - create chaos. So what does that make him?
From now on, No other nation, except Israel, is going to trust us. This is gonna be an endless war. Someday we may get out of the war, but the region's "US induced" war will continue. And we probably will never leave the region.
BTW Israel had no qualms about attacked the USS Liberty in 1967 because they consider attacking it and apologizing later as in their best interest. The attack killed 34 Americans and wounded 171 more.

The suet holder mentioned can be bought online with no suet. That way they are not at all expensive.
If itâs in a place where stealth is important Iâm not a fan of the net container. Getting it off and back on securely can be time consuming.

itâs a sitcom. He fired Kristi Noem. I saw a snippet of her testimony about the I think âŚâŚ$70 million âŚâŚluxury plane they bought claiming that was going to save money after they ârefurbishedâ it. Hilarious. I think that was the straw that broke his back.

I think it was the exposure of the vanity ad featuring her on horseback in front of Mt. Rushmore, produced by a brand new, unknown company owned by her friend, and paid $220M. When brought to light, she said it was approved by Trump. I guess he didn't like being thrown under that burning bus.
I wonder if her new fictitious title "Envoy for The Shield of the Americas" comes with a pay cut.

Last year, I found a box on LbNA that was a pouch with this bar/bracket with a couple of hooks on it. The letterbox was hanging off the branch of a tree a couple of feet overhead.

Get narrower gouges.
A way to simulate a narrower gouge is to bend the material outward. That way you can carve the same width of furrow, but when you let it relax it will become narrower. You will become better as you practice.
However, what I do takes more practice: Learn to carve very shallow furrows. It takes a sharp gouge. I sharpen my own to make sure that they are sharp when I need them.
Here is a video on sharpening a small V-gouge. This example is a wood gouge, but see how well the result cuts wood? I use this to sharpen my gouges and blades. As suggested in Kirbert's sharpening tutorial (which someone else can post a link to), use a ceramic knife to take the burrs off of the inside of the gouge.

Suet holder
Be sure to use a new suet holder. The scent from a used one will surely attract critters with sharp teeth who like to nibble on things.

May I point out a similar campaign beginning on 19 March 2011 in Libya by a coalition of NATO counties:

Usually 2, but it's fun to team up with 1 or 2 others, especially at events. Teaming up with other boxers can be a great way to improve boxing skills, as everyone has a different skill set and methodology. Learning new ways to solve clues is fun! 5 or more in a group starts to get cumbersome but there are times when it still works.

Whataboutism aside, Iâm curious as to why you didnât post this text from the Wikipedia article:
In a 2016 interview with Fox News, U.S. President Barack Obama stated that the "worst mistake" of his presidency was "probably failing to plan for the day after what I think was the right thing to do in intervening in Libya."[311][312] Obama also acknowledged there had been issues with following up the conflict planning, commenting in a 2016 interview with The Atlantic magazine that British Prime Minister David Cameron had allowed himself to be "distracted by a range of other things".
The ability to admit making mistakes is a characteristic that the current president sorely lacks. Instead, he doubles down on his mistakes (tariffs, for example) or blames others. I donât recall any other president with such a complete inability to accept any responsibility for his actions.

Iâve done this successfully and my boxes are still in place several years later.
I used a prescription bottle upside down. I glued a metal hanger (the hook part) to the container. The hangers from Kohlâs are the best. Then added a layer of green duct tape for camouflage and to help secure it. Since the cap is on the bottom, it doesnât take in water. There is no log book, just the stamps. They hang against the branches like Christmas decorations.
You could probably use a carabiner instead of the hook and attach in the same manner.

Libya is currently divided between two primary, rival administrations.
This enduring stalemate stems, in part, from the failure to hold elections in 2021, with power split geographically between the west and east; and with warlords controlling territories scattered about.
The conflict is characterized by a struggle for legitimacy, control over oil resources, human rights abuses, terrorism, and the influence of foreign powers, with the country still reeling from the aftermath of the 2011 civil war and the subsequent collapse of state institutions. (AI assisted)
The Iranian situation is massively larger and complex, with dozens of countries, ethnic and/or religious groups. All of this and a few thousand years of ugly history.

Tracker Participant Max Signups
Board: Postals
Mar 6, 2026 4:11pm
I'm finalizing my first singleton postal this weekend/beginning of next week and am thinking about how I want to go about organizing the tracker. I've gone through some of the previous trackers for inspiration and think I have wording/rules figured out, but was wondering about the tracker participant signups limit.
What determines how many people you let into your trackers? Is it estimated mail time? Management? Logbook space? Lack of postal interest? Something else I'm not thinking of?
It seems like the average singleton postal tracker for this past year is limited to 8 participants and I was just wondering why that is?
Thanks everyone!

I agree! The smaller the container the better. You can also used small pouches with camo duct tape and even a paper clip or an gagillion other such things attached by the duct tape. Iâve had boxes hang for years like this.

1. Estimate about a week per person.
2. Estimate a 2% chance of the envelope going missing each time it is mailed.
3. Logbook space is something to consider. I like to give a 3x3 inch area for each person to stamp and write something
A 10 person limit will take about two months to make it back, not need a huge logbook area, and will most likely still make it home without going missing.
Some people like to rearrange the mailing order. For a ring that is fine, but for a singleton I hate being one of the first to sign up and ending up at the bottom of the list! I was 2nd or 3rd, and then become 15th so I don't see it for 3-4 months or it goes missing. Singletons should be First come, First served!

For me, itâs dependent on logbook space, estimated mail time, and the likelihood of the postal to get lost in the mail. The more participants, the longer it is in circulation, the more likely the postal system will end up eating it.

I try to keep them 10 and under because if the tracker is moving slow, I feel like it is more likely to stall out and people get lazy about mailing asap! If it is seasonal. I try to keep less participants so you aren't getting a Valentine in June! USPS seems very slow lately!
