Do not scale trees in shorts.
*looking at gashes on thighs*
Yep, bad idea. But at least I got that box up...

I bet I know what box you were "hiding" - and I'm glad I found it already (or did I....??)
THis poor body hasn't been in tree climbing shape in years..... and Foxy Boy is scared of heights..... Can I borrow a Cub to find this box???

Now, how is anyone going to get that box?
I just had to rig it up which involved me climbing. No one has to climb to get it. Though that gives me an idea for future boxes... *grin*
I have another box on a pulley system and I had to put my 9 yr old (at the time) up on my shoulders while the younger ones pinned me to the tree to stablize us. It could have been easier if I opted to drill into the tree, but I hung it with no damage to the tree. Everyone who finds it only has to unclip it and lower it. I think I'm being too nice though...

I second that borrowing a cub thing. Though Pawing the Ground and Rascally Rabbit might be able to climb for one.
