Well, I was going to take the kids to the Pirate festival, BUT I ended up in the hospital Friday night for an emergency appendectomy. Hmmm...I feel a stamp coming out of this one. Hope those that attended had a good time. All is well here and I get to take a few days off work too!

Oh my goodness that must have been very unexpected. I had that experience, it hurt so bad is was a relief when they said they were going to cut that sucker out. I am glad that you are recovering well and hope that this doesn't put too much of a burden on you.

Gosh, thanks everyone for all your get wells. I'm just a bit sore, but otherwise doing well. My husband and kids have been doing a good job taking care of me. No need to bring meals, but appreciate your offers. If you guys want to send some stamps my way that would be fun, e-mail me.

that sucks! I had to go through that when I was 7 years old. boy it was painful! and now I have a 'neat' little scar to show for it. hope you're feeling better.
