That was an incredible amount of coordination, time and planning that went into making sure that everyone had the supplies needed to learn all that stuff. I always wanted to learn how to make that logbook, but needed to have someone show me in person, rather than reading a how to. Also, the burning question of how to glue the pages together to make a book lb hider finally got answered - yay! Terrific info all day long. Thanks Speedsquare for all that hard work and a very fun day. Also to Jabber for the accordion book and felt pouch making abilities! The thought to do that on the trail has never occured to me, being the paper towel carrying just in case the stamp needs it or the box needs drying g kind of gal.

DrWatson, the fishing happened after the acetone and ironing transfer, but before The Rose Garden retrieval. No nibbles, but a letterbox find though. TrailTracker, you are no slouch in the humor department yourself, you know. A delight to meet you after all this time. I trust hidden mickeys are not in your head any more.

Until now.

Heh, Speedsquare hasn't recovered yet, but still, I'm asking. When's the next one? Yesterday was an amazing day of information and knowledge exchange and a lot of fun. Thanks!!

Thanks speedsquare for all the hard work you put into coordinating this event! It couldn't have been better put together! The location was great and everything was so well thought out. You even managed for the weather to be perfect too! I loved learning how to make the logbooks. I want to know when the next event will be too. I'm sure there are more book making techniques that I could stand to learn.

And thanks to Jabber for teaching us how to make those stamp pouches. I see them all the time in postals and think how cute they are. Now I can make them too! (But mine won't be so cute until I practice a little more.)

Thank you Dr Watson for letting me hitch a ride. And thanks to you and Trailtracker for the great conversation.

And lastly, thanks to everyone who showed up! It was nice talking to old (not necessarily an age related word) friends and meeting some new ones!

THANKS TO ALL!
