The future's so bright, I have to wear shades...

Yesterday, I planted my first box! When I got home from work, I saw that my first postcrossing card had been received. Now, early this morning someone has already found my LB (it helps that it's at a coffee house). I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!! Then I got a note from a LBer that I admire, she's a talented and prolific carver, for the next week we'll be within a city block of each other while at work. Possibly my first exchange with a boxer that wasn't my friend b.LB (before letterboxing).
(Note: you can tell it's a good day when I start mixing 80's song lyrics)

ooo Congrats Clover!

I planted my first box on vacation in Missouri. But, no one has gone to see it even though there are 46 hits. *sigh* So, I can only imagine how exciting it must feel. I am about to plant my first in Connecticut. I trust my CT neighbors will go see it sooner! ;D

And, ... go for the 80s mix. Works for me!

Unfortunately, Branson is mainly visited by folks out of state these days. I will try and hunt for it next time I am in that area, which may be a while. Thanks for planting the box, SW MO can use more boxes for sure.

Yep, that's true. I'm from Missouri and I don't think I've ever been to Branson, although I've been almost everywhere else in the state.

But, the good thing with having a box in a touristy area is that you'll get finders from ALL over. It should be really fun to keep up with (and it easily could have been found, because there are a lot of finders who don't log finds).

I'm visiting Springfield MO over thanksgiving. Will only actually be there 24-36 hours but I fully intend to plant several (there are only 2 there now.). I actually threw out a challenge... I want to try to double the number of LB in the area... it would be easiest with the simple two but I hope people will take my challenge and force me to try to plant 10 or 20 or who knows. If so, many but not all of my new plants may locate nearby to my challengers. yipee!

Outdoor girls, it is Branson Trax. Planted in .... you guessed it ... Branson. It is NOT handcarved ... NOT a good log book. But, we had SO much fun. And, now, no one has gone to see it. BUT, it is only 1 of 3 in Branson, and only 1 of about 5 in a 25 mile. Or, at least, when we were there. We are still hoping it is visited.

Yea, I know Dewberry. My daughters and I just want to "see" it found. Or, hear from it via email. And, we will possibly never see it again. Maybe, even probably. Perhaps, I just need to remember that it was fun. We are not typical Branson folks. We went there on a "Gran Gran's time to pick the family vacation spot." And, we had a lot of fun hiking and doing un-Bransony things. We saw a couple of shows too. And, we REALLY had fun with our family. Not sure why. And, we were not expecting it to be so much fun.

I don't know where your starting from to get to Wright's Park, but from there to the coffee house is a nice little hike. I trust you to return! I hope you enjoy it! Let me know if it's your first time there!
