For those of you who didn't see it on another board, I am going to dinner Friday night with an old boyfriend from HS. We are going to a really nice restaurant, and since I didn't have anything decent to wear there, I went shopping. I purchased a dress, shoes and undergarments. Well Heeled offered to lend me a small beaded purse. Am I forgetting anything? I haven't been on a date since I was dating my ex-husband, and that was about 10 years ago.

Ack! You are right - perfume! I think maybe I will polish my toenails too. The dress is red and the material is light and floaty. Does that make sense? It was the 3rd dress I tried on, so thankfully I didn't have to look that long. But the masses of Homecoming dresses made me feel old, so I didn't want to stay in that department very long. The shoes are black patent leather Mary Janes with a 3 inch (?) heel.

Wow, red would look good on you TG. If you are going to paint your toenails i suggest red (or black, but since the shoes are black i wouldnt...). I'm not even going to homecoming, my friend and i want to stay away from all the freak dancing upperclassmen (wow...). We're having our annual Anti-Homecoming Dance party (we pretty much watch Star Wars and LOTR all night and eat junk food till we puke!!). If you can, try and put a headband in your hair too, it would make you look so pretty.

Well, he's coming from WI and I'll be coming from south of Chicago, so I will have my own car. But I always carry my cell phone anyway.

Yes, about 12 years ago. Since then we have both been married and divorced, and he has 3 kids.

I don't know...could be. We were instant messaging until 3:30 this morning, and then he called me at 9:30 and we talked for another 3 hours, so I think initially things will go well. We'll see about longer term later. :D

I second that! One of my migraine triggers is perfume (it's a very common trigger) and I know several people who can't take being around lots of perfume. It would suck if he turns out to be one of those people.

Yep, smells are one for me too. Perfume (especially at the gym--yuk!), scented candles, cigarette smoke...I am a regular scent-aphobe.
