I just want to add, that I ADORE some of wassamatta_u's postals.

His entry in the "Things That Go Plop In The Night" ring was inspired... who KNEW you could make a logbook out of porcelain? Oh, sure, the postage was a bit high, especially since it is considered "Hazardous Material", but STILL, a Work of Art.

And the "My Favorite Rashes" ring. I would NEVER have thought to put itching powder on the logbook. Simply brilliant! Still the whole "Hazardous Material" thing got a bit old.

But perhaps my favorite wassamatta_u postal was "A Tribute to Junk Mail". I have received 3 or 4 entries from him on this ring EVERY DAY for the last 2 months. I have now re-financed my house through wassa over 142 times.

the most creative and utterly fascinating PLBs I have ever received were from Orion...
it's not just the carvings...
EVERYTHING is incredible.
The Great Houdini postal still has me drooling 2 years later

I agree, Dixie. Orion's "DaVinci Code" was the best overall postal box I've ever received.

Really? I've found that WU guy's postals just plain terrible.

Just don't tell him I said it, u_attamassaw.

Seriously, I've seen far too few WU postals. I must sign up for more of that deranged man's work.

wassamatta_u has the honor (?) of creating the bloodiest stamp in my logbook. It's his Black Knight from the Monty Python ring. I felt I had to draw in the blood spurting from the wounds.

"'Tis but a scratch!"

That was a fun one! I didn't add blood, but I did scatter the body parts around on the page.

Too bad both of you missed the paper dolls ring... Falling Leaves, Orion and Dale End Farm are the one's I've gotten so far......... SHH to come. These are fabulous!
Orion's was 'black and white' but even Orion and my 5-year old agreed nothing anymore is in black and white : )

You all may be huge dewberry fans when it comes to PLB's, but I wonder if you would love her as much if you were forced to solve her wicked puzzles in her traditional letterboxes. I have a lump on my forehead that won't go away that was the result of banging my head on the table over one notorious clue. My name is Mother of Five, and I am addicted to dewberry puzzles.

I haven't received many of Orion's postals, but I do agree that the Houdini logbook was a masterpiece, as were the stamps. Her contributions to the Artful log ring are also masterful.

I have many Dewberry favorites, including the Fraught Settee, which had such a wonderful logbook, the Harry Potter boxes, To Kill A Mockingbird, and her box for the conspiracy ring which was hilarious! 8-)

Some of my many SHH favorites include her How Charming box, the Wedding Box, and her boxes from the Just an Inch rings. Her ability to do lettering is amazing!

Sadly, I've only managed to get one of WU's postals but that was a doozy! That Rube Tube is going to be suitable for framing when it's complete.

Dewberry's boxes? Good heavens, I don't even know where to start. The Elvis ones? The Tiger Lily? MST3K: Santa Claus conquers the Martians? That To Kill A Mockingbird stamp was nice, but wasn't the logbook so appropriate? Nice touch on that one!

SHH. Did we have to put Dewberry and SHH in the same message. SHH should have her own logbook at my house showcasing the collection of SHH stamps I've received. Favorite one? Whichever one I'm looking at. This morning's mail brought SHH's contribution to the Shrek ring. Geez, the detail work on Donkey's eyelashes is blowing me away. All of them.

It's a lucky day when an Orion postal shows up here. I think I've only hosted two, but dang, what time goes into the making of the postals. Poisson d'Avril had scads of stuff that had me pouring through the logbook and the humor was exquisite. Is that the one that went MIA?

The Pamper Ring: Reiki plb is the one that made me realize there was no way I could even approach the art log league. You know those movie scenes with the poor starving street kid waif in the dead of winter looking in at the warm restaurant filled with eaters at tables laden with food? I'm that kid looking in at logbooks when I see an Orion logbook. Really.

Turn loose of one for us un-wassa_u-tried Wassa_U. Doesn't that read like a Head On, apply directly to the forehead soundbites?

Echoing in the back of my mind is a reply saying "Shaddupa you face Mo."

I feel your pain...
or desire... or envy... or all those feelings that Orion's logbooks bring.
Even the presentation of the logbooks for Houdini was breathtaking...
that vintage looking velvet...oh my!

I loved the Calvin & Hobbes snowmen.

So detailed, so perfectly carved, and so hilarious!

The Black Knight was awesome - I used several pages of logbook to stamp him in all the stages of dismemberment.

For a postal 'box or two...

Stamps and ink, so we think
Stamps and ink, to make us blink...

Foolish, foolish mortals...
You know not for what you ask. And yet, who am I to refuse? Therefore, by popular (albeit misguided) demand, I have created the "wassamatta_u_asked_for_it: Two Guys..." postal (a Single).

Be one of the first 12 people to AQ mail me a joke, pun, riddle, bribe, or plea, and you too can spend the rest of your life regretting ever signing up!
