Olive Oyl is running a booth...

Let me preface this story by reminding my reading audience that for sci-fi/fantasy geeks, a con is a convention, such as GenCon or Cosmicon...
So I'm sitting here watching Entertainment Tonight waiting for The Princess Diaries 2 to come on (yay tomboys...we can do girl AND boy stuff!). I'm messing around on AQ, so I'm not really paying attention. The Highlander is in the other room messing with something, but he can hear the tv. All of the sudden, he comes up front and says "What the heck is all this about a PopeyeCon? Since when are these celebrities all into Popeye???"
It takes me a minute, but just before they cut to commercial, I finally hear what he's hearing: "Next up...Paris Hilton! Businesswoman, model, POP ICON!"
I'm STILL laughing!

That is awesome!!! When i was taking chemistry in college and really struggling with it, I was getting a tutor twice a week and really trying hard. I ate slept and dreamt chemistry. Right after mid-terms i decided i needed a break and read a novel for fun. I started getting confused when i kept reading about an un-ion. What the heck is an un-ion? did i miss the un-ion chapter?! Is it going to be on the final? After a few minutes i realized the word was UNION. As in a workers union. Geez. Talk about chemistry on the brain....
