Went to Niagara Falls to Celebrate 20 YEARS of marriage this weekend! Toured the Falls and went on the Jetboat ride through a CLASS 5 RAPID AND WHIRLPOOL! Got to sit in the front seat and pretty much felt like we were IN the River! They gave me funky scuba shoes and when I got out of the boat they were just FILLED with water lol! Got to find some letterboxes,(3) my DHs 1st (he turned out to be quite the dedicated clue hound!?!) and my 50th!!!(almost my last!! and that's where the the story gets interesting...)
THE NDE (NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE)
If ever you are in the NF area and wish to get the box at Devils Hole SP (World Refugee Day) pay close attention to the elevation gain on that set if "stairs"! (well stairs to a 100 yr. old Billy goat maybe,lol) Stairs "down" also means "stairs back up"!!! In the immortal words of Roseanne Rosannadana "I thought I was gonna DIE!" To be honest the further back up I went the younger I got...first I was walking upright like an adult, then I was one step at a time like a 5 yr. old and by the time I got to the top I was practically crawling up like a 2 yr. old!( I think the DH rushed me a bit!)
WARNING! this box says kid and pet friendly, but my dog would have laid down and a smaller kid would likely need carried out!!!That box need a n extreme symbol! lol! (Bug Girl wasn't along but she might have fared better than me!)At least after all that effort the box was safe and sound!(By the way becohio I left your HH there!)

ps.we brought along tingling gel and ended up using it on our LEGS after Devils Hole, talk about a romance killer lol!

I tried the Have one on me too, too! Ah well, it was my first time visiting the 3 Sisters Islands, and they were beautiful! Thanks for the warning about that box - we tote around a one-year old and go for anything with the kid friendly logo! (She would not appreciate being toted the entire time and not walking.)

Well - I don't think I'll be hearing from that HH very soon. I'm sure glad you got out of there alive!
