It's been quite a while since I surfed around the boards here at AQ and just look what I am missing. A BB board just sitting here. Oh man!

Since I can, I will throw my 2 cents out there. I originally had all (10) of my buddies listed as "others", but I really liked the idea of having a tracker set up for each one to help my poor little brain not have to spic and spark too much about where they were going next (especially because there is some sort of short up there somewhere that always loses this sort of info when it's trying to file it away). The only problem is that the trackers are set up for postals. Try as I might, I couldn't get the tracker to add my buddy as an "other" box. Soooo...after a few messages about how I should add them as a box to the tracker so people could log them easier and only getting a few logs as an "other" box, I broke down and deleted all of them to re-list them as postals. (Hey, whatever works for you.) Now, happily, each buddy is listed on it's individual tracker and you can log them as finds when you find them. Each one is also registered as its own "person" so exchanges and finds all can be added by the hosts thereby eliminating more of a strain on my brain to keep it all sorted out.

Belive me, I have enough going on with weekly updates to every Buddy's blogs. Anything to make it easier is great.

Now, having said that, we are about to list a few MORE Buddies ready for hosting. They will mostly all be ready by the beginning of August. Yup, it's a regular Buddy factory over here!
If you are curious (and how could you not be?), our Buddy blog is: www.boxingbuddytravels.blogspot.com and each individual buddy has it's own page accessible from this one. Some are still under construction, but most of them are up and running.

Wow, guess I had more like a half dollar to say. Sorry.

Wow, you're not kidding! Just wait until they all start appearing in the Hall of Fame F1000 ahead of Green Tortuga!

I have enough trouble keeping track of three. I agree, I think listing them as postals might be the way to go, purely so that the tracker can be made use of. Also we do mail them to each other after all. I think I might have to re-list mine from 'Other'. I have had a quick look at the search I set up for Boxing Buddies and it is still picking them up. So long as we keep listing them as Boxing Buddy : XXXX then we will still be able to search for them.

I have a shorter attention span, I'm trying that with hitchhikers. Forget "A chicken in every pot." A HH in every box! that's my motto!

WOOHOO!! That'd be fun.
My advice is this: if you are going to re-list them as a postal instead of an other...do it now while they don't have too many finds logged. I sent messages to each person who logged the buddy as a find to let them know they had been changed. The fewer messages you have to send, the easier it is in my opinion.
