Can't believe I forgot to post this, but Amanda came for a layover in Buffalo early this week and some of us got to hang out with her. I (the Sprite) had just a half day of summer school, then spent the time with her finding Celtic Quinn's Ctrl-Alt-Del & the Nature Side of Boxing series. We stopped at Wegman's to eat and were SURE there was a box there, so we called her sister and the Highlander before I finally logged onto the store's wifi and found we were in error. We searched for a few more before going to the Cheesecake Factory, where we met up with Balloon Fanatic's family, Bulldog51 and his mom, Chadams and Lady Lilac (with some younguns in tow as well).

Unfortunately, my plan to keep Amanda hostage until Green Tortuga came to rescue her at the WNY gathering backfired when he decided to keep Celtic Quinn hostage up in Seattle, cutting off a third of the event's boxing supply.

You win THIS round, Shelled One, but next time, you shall not be so...fortunate (next time, we'll send a decoy boxer instead of the real thing to the Pirate event!)

No, NO, we were trying to KEEP you this time, honest! GT was threatening to keep you guys if we didn't send Amanda back! We WANTED you guys back, so we let her go (and she didn't press charges).
