I am embarrassed as well, but paranoid.... so my dog has a myspace. I write all my blogs and stuff from her perspective and more or less her "news." People make fun of me, but whatever and I have actually discovered it's an easy way to keep in touch with people, even easier than email!

Most of my friends belong to both me and my fiance and while I'm in charge of it, they pass messages thru me to him as well.

I resisted having one for so long, I saw way too many bad things on there (even close friends who got scammed) but I just don't associate with the crap and keep to the good. I didn't realize it at first but it does allow a lot of privacy (like only letting friends see your blogs and pics) but what amazes me is how many "webcam porn stars" and "free stuff for people" people all wanna be friends with a dog. It's a lil messed up if you ask me. Most people contact me another way and ask if Lady Shiva is really me.... they're smart enough to figure that out at least, lol!
