First Finder — no, we're not competitive!

So, it's Sunday afternoon and I'm meeting someone at a movie theatre at 3:45. I happen to check AQ and lo & behold, there is a new box planted that very day.
http://www.atlasquest.com/lboxes/showboxinfo.html?gBoxId=46193 It mentions a First Finder prize.
Having lived in that very area years ago, I knew exactly where it was.
Do I have enough time? Yes, possibly.
I go and find it, log in about 3:05 or so, grab that prize, replace it, and get to the theatre with 5 minutes to spare. I thought about not going for it, trying later that night, but I really want to be FF.
Movie starts 4:00 and I change my cell phone to vibrate. I lean against my bag about 15 minutes later and feel the phone vibrating. It's going off at intervals, so I check and I have gotten a voice mail. It's letting me know by signaling every minute or so.
Finally, after the movie is done, I check my voice mail and it's my sometimes LB partner, heyokah man. He had tried for FF on this box and I beat him by a mere hour!
hee hee hee hee
He was wonderful and refrained from logging his find until I did mine, so I would show as FF.
The AQ email from my search informing me of this box hit my AQ inbox at 1:02, so I nabbed it in 2 hours.
No, no, we aren't competitive and try to be FF and beat out everyone else! At least, we're all having fun!
Thanks, dreammer, for a fun box.

My family is about to plant our first letterbox and we were considering including a First Finder prize. Do you have any suggestions for prizes? Is there something that is particularly coveted by regular letterboxers? Thanks!

There are various items that are FF prizes. There are many posts/threads around here on it, but here's some quick thoughts:
Marmalade & I once went to a coffee shop box that had just been planted. The FF prize was a $10 gift certificate to the shop. Since we didn't use up all $10 on our tea, we put the reduced certificate back for the next finder.
Some people do shrinky dinks of the stamp. Some include stickers.
I have heard from various people that a paper image can be preferred, as it can be glued easily into a logbook.
My only two permanent plants (one had to be retired when the restaurant closed) had a full color paper image of the stamp. In one case, it was the photo from which I carved the image.
A small certificate, filled out with "Congratulations, you are the first finder of __________" can also be fun. Keep it small enough to go in a logbook.
It's fun to be FF, but I do enjoy looking through a generously stamped logbook, seeing who has been there and what they said . . .
Do a search on the message boards and you will find lots of responses to this subject!
