I have been promoted and have accepted a position in Hartford, CT. I know, I know....letterboxing Ground Zero. LOL I guess I will spend more time finding rather than planting, as I have been quite spoiled planting in virgin New York territory.

I am keeping my New York home and will probably be renting an apt in the Central CT area, but will be visiting NY on occasion. I don't want to put my boxes up for adoption at this point but I am hoping that people will help maintain one or two by replacing a logbook or drying out a container at times?

I will be moving the last weekend in August..so I won't be able to attend the WNY gather. Argh.....I'll NEVER get that darn podcast done!

Looking forward to getting these last few Adirondack boxes planted before I make the big move!

Welcome! If you see hovercrafts on the CT River it may very well be us! We live in Eastern CT but enjoy flying from Riverside Park in Hartford (which has a few boxes I haven't found yet). Hope to meet you someday. (Rambling, I know. I can't wait for the heat to break!)

I swear to god it's a curse. Whenever I want to attend a WNY gather, SOMETHING comes up. But I will tell you now, NOTHING will keep me away from running Desperately Seeking Sun/Suds! That will just be my homecoming weekend from now on. Besides, there is NO WAY Ct can compete with Upstate NY for snow, cold and insane fricking boxers. Besides, I already paid the deposit so I am committed. :)

In any case, I am anxious to live in a place where I can trip over a letterbox on my way to the grocery store. Or the gas station. Or the hairdressers' or the..well..you get the picture.
