Ein Prosit! (Replaced 7-26-2011)

Ein Prosit! pays tribute to the beer drinking gemutlichkeit that Wurstfest merrymakers enjoy.

To find Ein Prosit! start at the corner of Landa and Zink in New Braunfels. Park somewhere around here. On the side of the road that faces traffic, walk down Landa Street. The sidewalk will be flanked by a stone retaining wall. After about 70 or 80 steps you will come to stairs built into the retaining wall. Sit on the 4th step and notice that there are two crevices to your left. Being mindful of all things creepy and crawly, reach into the smaller of the two crevices to find the letterbox. You can sit here on the stairs and stamp away while scores of vehicles pass you, their drivers oblivious of what you are doing or even that you are there. When replacing the letterbox, be careful not to push it into the crevice past the next person's reach! (And yes, I want you to cover the opening of the crevice with leaves!) Thanks!
