Two months ago Root adopted a squirrel that was orphaned at her workplace. We took care of him and taught him everything we could. Eventually he decided to brave the big bad world on his own, near Fort Henry. Good luck little squirrel!
Start at the bus stop on the north side of the street at the top of the hill near the Fort. Walk north into the field about 100 meters, passing a big rock and three large trees on your left as you go. (There used to be one more tree, but it was blown down in a wind storm.) The box is tucked away in a hole at the base of the fourth tree.
Note: The bus stop is seasonal, so the sign may or may not be there.
