The stamp in this box was carved by Jessica, age 10. The name comes from a song that her brother likes to sing which goes:
"Slippery fish, slippery fish, swimming in the water
Slippery fish, slippery fish. Oh no!
Ohm ohm (eating sounds!)
Eaten by a...
Tuna fish, tuna fish, swimming in the water" (and so on with different sea creatures such as an octupus and a great white shark, until you reach the humungous whale when you make a loud burping sound at the end!)
Directions
On Auckland's North Shore, find the entrance to Leroys Bush on Onewa Road and follow the path into the bush.
Clue
At the first fork in the path turn left down towards the stream, and turn left at the next fork in the path too.
Keep following the path, until you reach some stairs heading upwards. Look on the right hand side under the bottom step of the staircase with the handrail. There you will find your own slippery fish to sing about!
As always, please be discreet and rehide the box well. Lots of people walk in this reserve, but it shouldn't be so busy that you can't find a quiet moment to retrieve the box.
