Do not do this in the summer unless you are immune to poison ivy. It covers EVERYTHING past box 1, reaching out and down from both sides of the path, the fence, and the trees.

I found box 4 by accident when looking for box 3. You have to reach your hand through PI leaves and lift the rock nestled against a hairy PI vine to get it.

I worked backwards to look for 2 and 3 after getting 4, unsuccessfully - found the root step okay but there’s nothing around the base of its tree. I also never found the little green post or tree against the fence with a rock behind it.

Went out with Bonnie Lassie. The boxes were easy finds. We are going to come back for the third box -- it was very buggy, and very overgrown around the tree. We plan to return when the weather is cooler.

Funny story, my sister and I went for these on a frigid cold day and at first couldn’t find them, then realized we entered the wrong side of the trail. Once we realized, we found them with ease, except for poor Luke who was missing. We stamped in in the car then replaced boxes then looked for #3 again. We’re thinking he was put back too far to the right where there’s a big hole that leads to water! Very cute stamps (a fellow dog lover🐾) Thank you for 3 more adorable additions to my book.
