DEEP says they are going to announce the Sky 2020 sites on March 19.
Thanks to you and Cooled Coyote for the update. I think a lot of us were excited/hoping for an announcement this week. Can't wait to start.
It's disappointing that they won't have the sites listed until late March. But I did kind of like doing the sites in the fall last year. When I previously did them in early spring, I missed all the boxes that people planted a bit later, especially those "Box A" stamps.
Understand. We don't do our sky hikes based on Box plantings. We do them when they fit into our schedule. If the boxes are planted when we go, we will go for them. otherwise they just get added to the to-do list and we will get them when we get them. Usually we are done will all of the sky hikes by the end of May or the end of June, before the weather gets hot. Which is important for my husband.
So...it sounds as though at least a few people are interested in this year’s challenge? Wondering whether enough are interested in carving/planting to get the tracker going again? Should we decide now, or wait til the list comes out? Really hoping I’ll get more of a chance to hike this year than I did last year!!

I can plant one or two. Last year I was focused on section hiking in New Hampshire to the Canadian border, but that's done so I can focus more on Connecticut this year.
I'm sure we can 14 brave souls, so I say we plan on a 2020 tracker!
Ok! Will someone please post when the list is up? Then I’ll get moving!
The theme is bridges, so that may be the stamp theme too
