Check our logbook for plants. We have several that are easy finds in Biddeford,Saco, Old Orchard Beach areas.
dingus dufus has a really yummy one in southern Maine. If you want to put a little work into figuring out the clue, you will definitely be rewarded.
There is a great series in the village of Kennebunk that we did last summer. Some were missing, but I can't say enough good things about the way it was set up - exciting and fun for our family, and a little bit of history along the way.
Called 'About town - Kennebunk (19)' planted by mudflinginfools
We did this series too, a nice day spent in Kennebunk.
Thanks... There are a couple in local businesses to visit as well... The shop owners are a hoot!
In Portsmouth NH- a box called The Friendly Toast in the restaurant of the same name. I see that it's now listed as "unknown" but there's a comment left by the last finder indicating where they found it...so who knows? It's quite the unique place!
Thanks for this suggestion. I'll have to try it out on my bi-annual trip to Nova Scotia! I have been doing Freeport area the last few trips. I'm looking forward to this
Thank you for all the suggestions. Helps narrow down my travel choices for the week of Wakeda 2018. Plans are that event or the one in North Carolina. Leaning to NH since I missed out on boxing in Maine last time I was in New England. Ice cream sounds great as well even down east.
The Tour the Fort Event is in Kittery this year, the Saturday before Wakeda.
