yes, I have 3 of these patches left! I am aiming to bring the last of them to Ithaca this weekend for the Finger Lakes gather...and then I suppose I will have to reorder them. ( We're all just treading water until those Atlasquest patches become available!!)

Ok, more to report - I sent the test to my brothers (we all grew up in KY). The one who still lives in KY (though he lived in New York for 10 years) scored 78 and 65. The one who lives in NYC (!) and has for at least 15 years scored 97 and 84. And here's the funny one - my sister in law who was born and raised in KY, and went to Sewanee scored 58 and 38!!! She said please don't tell anyone or they will take away her Sewanee diploma!! LOL!!

Mama Fox - gloating because she scored "more Dixie" than her brothers - heh heh!

Happity Birthaday to you.

I told the people I work with Happy Flag Day and they looked at me like I was from a different planet. They said I had too much time on my hands to know that. I said, "No, it's exactly two months before my birthday. Start shopping." :P

I wanted to order one of those "Over the hills and through the woods..." but the design has been retired. That is a serious bummer!

I'm considering the baby pink on black trail name, but I really like that circle clue one.

I don't want anything that specifically says "Letterbox" or "Letterboxing" though I wouldn't mind "LB" or "boxing".

I'd like to get some packs for an event in September. I just need to get organized.

It's wonderful you donated your hair. I did that when I was 13, my hair was past my knees and I bobbed it. A few years later I was told I had cervical cancer and really understood just what I had given when I cut my hair. (I still have a small bald spot that the hair never grew back) But I'm a 15 year survivor and my anniversary was June 11 th. So you hang in there and let it grow out a few more inches. Good Luck and thanks for caring.

Well, I'm sure those long legs have something to do with it. We've always called them granddaddy-longlegs.

People do travel around quite a bit these days but I'd start my search in Panther country. If that one didn't fit then go down the list.

Quote OK, I was just checking out a new box by Pink Panther (I believe) in Egypt, PA. (Caught my eye since I didn't know PA had a town named Egypt. I went to mapquest the town via AQ and it gave me THREE towns named Egypt in PA, all in different counties.

Now, I don't know enough about PA to know which county this particular Egypt is in. Is there a way to narrow it down to just one when going to Mapquest via AQ? Perhaps the planter needs to put in a zip code or something? Just wondering.....

Really? So where are you from, exactly?

I got the same thing! Probably had something to do with Rhode Islanders calling milkshakes "cabinets" and using "wicked" as an adjective far too often.

Quote Oh, and those little lizards EVERYWHERE freaked me out.

The small ones are what some people call salamanders, others call chameleons. Their color will change from green to brown to match what they're sitting on -- but it doesn't change very fast, you have to sit and watch it a while.
>

Most likely an anole. BTW a salamander is an amphibian, not a lizard. (knowledge is a by-product of having a reptile-loving son!)

Quote There is a third, small lizard that is dark blue and black striped lengthwise.

Perhaps a five lined skink - it has a blue tail.

We've got alot of the same lizards here in GA too - though not so numerous, when we were in FL you could here them shuffling around everywhere.!

This site had some nice photos:
