How do I get the theme to change? It used to change, and now it is California Gold Rush all of the time.

Just know that you will probably be overwhelmed and won’t get everything done. Have fun meeting new people! That’s the best part! Also, I recommend, and this is shunned by some, bringing stickers pre-stamped with my sig stamp and my trail name written on them. When boxing in a group, this really saves time so you can just stick one in the box’s logbook. Also, this guarantees a nice stamp impression when I exchange with people. No partial or smeared stamp in their logbook!

Have a great time!

How do I get the theme to change?

Go to "My Page" => "Preferences". On that page click "Theme Options" then "Deselect Theme". It should then change when you go to a new page.

Has anyone thought of designing a Race car stamp?

Only a couple dozen. No Nascar stuff, though.

Uh-oh, it's another boxer I know nothing about
She hails from Ogden, Illinois, no doubt
She likes Baltimore crab cakes, I can dig that
And she's got a pith helmet for her premium hat

She traveled to Ireland and planted a few
She likes baseball and hockey and fiddling too
She thinks cats, alpacas, and knitting are worthwhile
I'm so glad she completed her AQ profile!

Hey all! Thanks for all the shout-outs. It was great being a Bingo winner this year.

I'm looking forward to seeing many of my LB friends at Winter Fest on Saturday. It looks to be a gorgeous winter weather day in Houghton Lake, with lots of sunshine and temps in the high 30s. Thank you, Oh Shoot!, for hosting this.

Is anyone thinking they'd like to host this event in 2021? It's fun to rotate it around Michigan and easy-peasy to host. It would be great to keep it going...

If you want to carve some stamps that fit an old west theme, please make sure to add the boxes to the event. Any stamps that need hid will need to be in my possession no later than September 16th. All other stamps will need to be listed as table tops and you will need to supply the container.

Hope to see ya'll at the event!

You may want to contact Teacup or Mudflinginfools as they are having The Great American Western Event in May and possibly could lend you some stamps.

I'm sure we have some Indy 500 stamps here in the Hoosier state. I hosted a Bicentennial event a few years ago. I had a trail of famous Hoosiers and some of them were Nascar drivers. But I don't know anything about Daytona. You might ask around on the Florida board.

We have been making the rounds to get in as much as possible while in SE Georgia. I have also been leaving a few "souvenirs" as we take day trips! Thank you all for the suggestions - we are loving this trip! If you happen to be in Illinois in July, we are holding our Homerdoodle 2020 Event on July 11th!

Looks like you have a couple postals open to join right now - Boldly Go, History of Women and Frozen. I'm also enjoying the micro postals now because the postage is much more reasonable! Welcome back!

Logging On LBNA

I notice a lot of people do not log their find on both AQ and LBNA when the clue is linked to LBNA. They just log the AQ find and never go back to LBNA where they got the clue and log.

So a box may have been found in for example 2019 but if someone is searching just LBNA it might look like it hasn’t been since 2015 or whenever.

pre-stamped stickers

To cut down significantly on the thickness of a sticker in a logbook, I use clear address labels that would normally be used in a computer printer. The matte surface of these type of stickers holds sig stamp ink well. Also, the clear background doesn’t interfere with any pattern or color of the logbook page itself.

I'm sure we have some Indy 500 stamps here in the Hoosier state.

I carved an image of the Marmon Wasp and sent it to someone who said they'd plant it *at* the Speedway Museum -- and then never heard from it again.
