I really enjoyed myself at the event today at Reimers Ranch Park. I think this is an excellent event format where we spend the morning placing boxes and then meet up for lunch at a picnic pavillion and exchange clues and go out and spend the afternoon looking for boxes!

Let's plan on making this a regular event. I think we have agreed to have the next on at Colorado Bend State Park and make it a two day event. I can hardly wait.

Really enjoyed this event and agree that the format should be emulated! Not only did we have a fantastic day, we left behind a whole bunch of boxes for others to find. Win win.

Looking forward to Colorado Bend, PI Joe!

Is that because the box is reserved but once the box is activated I will then be able to add a planter?

Yes, that’s exactly right.

Yes, that’s exactly right.

Phew.
I thought about testing out the theory, but if it worked was concerned couldn't change it back to reserved and then would have had to delete and then relist all over again!

Thank You for the help!

I scored a sheet of 2007 Speedy-Carve at Blick today. I hope it is firmer than the 2016 stuff I've been using. My last 2009 was really nice. Picture: https://www.atlasquest.com/images/gallery/14/60/146031lg.jpg

I was doing the same thing myself recently and was wondering the same thing, but as soon as you go to activate you can add the second planter.

For any stamp that can take a stamp pad, I would use a stamp pad. I don't think any marker can beat a quality stamp pad. But for stamps which require detailed coloring that can't be done with a stamp pad, these markers are awesome. They bleed less than any other marker I've used.

Addendum: The Neuland website is a little clunky, so to get to the Neuland One Art Marker (brush nib) directly, use this link:

https://us.neuland.com/markers-more/neuland-markers/neuland-no.one-art-brush-nib-0.5-7-mm-single-colours.html?c=740

Then you can pick individual marker colors using the drop down menu.

Hi, umm I really hate to be the bearer of bad news ...

I’m with the Speedy-Carve police. The 2007 batch has been officially deemed unworthy. Sorry but I’m going to have to confiscate that piece. 😄

Seriously though, congrats on that score!

We got pulled away right after Grand Canyon by a sick kiddo. So we will definitely be going back!
