I've seen that one, The Curse of Fatal Death. That was made between the 8th and 9th Doctors. There's a scene that reminds me of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_%26_Ted%27s_Bogus_Journey Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey] at the Battle of the Bands. Though I'm sure some other comedy time travel show did it before that.
Recycling/combining monsters (minor spoilers)

After watching the first two episodes of the season, it seems that they are running out of ideas for new monsters. The Pilot reminded me of the creatures from The Waters of Mars, which a dash of the 'Siren' from The Curse of the Black Spot (mostly the way she screamed). In the most recent episode, the robots seemed very similar to the robots from The Girl Who Waited, while the swarms of mini robots definitely had a Vashta Nerada feel to them (especially the way they could strip the flesh from bone in just a few seconds). I hope they have something a bit more original in the next few episodes.

Spoiler alert

I enjoyed it, especially the appearance of the first Doctor at the end. Not as big a fan of the kill 'em off/give 'em continued life trope that was too reminiscent of Clara and Me, and River Song too if you think about it.

I don't know anything about her, but I've been waiting for a female Doctor for a long time, so I'm cautiously excited!

Now I just have to get caught up--not being fond of the 12th Doctor has made me lazy about seeking out his last couple seasons now that they're not on Netflix.
