These are retired so I'll share this:
I made some that I permanently glued to pennies and tossed them in with other pennies in fountains:

Obviously I can't just put a Buoy there.

Depends. There are plenty of marker buoys around here. Heck, some people think a white diagonal bar through a red field is a marker buoy to be circled on a jetski. ::glares at idiot boaters::

But, I digress. How accessible do you want them? I can't image too many finds on a box that requires the finder to get their scuba rig. More on a snorkel-able box, even more than a wade-able box. You could build a wooden structure that resembles a lobster trap, weigh it down, and have that hold a water proof container. Coordinates to the surface buoy, if there is one, could be clues.

While at Salt Fork today planting we saw a couple of vehicles wiith Ohio Bigfoot Hunters printed on decals.

Chris was on a trail and I wanted to go to the Lodge for Geocach info. OH MY GOSH. ALL, yes, ALL the parking lots were full by the lodge and also the overflow parking!! REALLY?

There was a convention...speakers and people lined up buying books, etc.

It did not rain while we were there tho it did ran here in Monroe County this morning. Right now it is sprinkling here.

Soooooo glad we were not at the park for the event this weekend!!!

And No, we did not see Bigfoot. Sorry Mr. Knipp. Sandy, Chris and Brenda

I received a few messages that one of my microcache logs was full. This requires a half mile hike on a bridge, and !n hour drive from my house. I finally went there last night, and replaced the scroll log. I got there at sunset, and this cache has views of the ocean, facing west, and the intercoastal and downtown Clearwater, FL, facing east. It looked amazing at sunset. 2 cars pulled up and scared me, but they just wanted to see the sunset.

It was then, I was happy I replaced the log. People really like this cache. It is in a touristy area, but since it is a half mile hike round trip, on a bridge, it is a great reward, and the only muggles are usually passing cars. Lots of hotels nearby means it has had 305 finds in 7 years. People from all over the US and Europe. I had recent finders from Norway, Sweden, Germany and France. 30 people have posted pictures. I have let some of my other adopted microcaches be archived as they disappeared, but I hope this one lasts 10 years!

I had dental surgery last week, and didn't do much. I feel better now.

I walked 6.2 miles today, and about 2 miles (partly uphill) yesterday. My friend went with me today. Yesterday I had
A geocache log I had to hike to, to replace.

Also thanks to Oceanwinds for the encouragement...

I watched my mom barely able to stand today, and in so much pain, due to lack of strength, osteoporosis and a bulging disk. I am at high risk for osteoporosis, heart disease and diabetes. As my friend said to me today, "I'm not afraid of dying... I'm afraid of not being able to do things"... we both work in healthcare and know sometimes things beyond our control happen.

But I have to take control of my health, and excercise has to be scheduled in as a priority. :)

But since that time I have learned it shows up on my map of where I have been

I saw that in the class I took. It also shows where you were when you checked in, but if you have little to no security setting from what I understood. Is an easy way to find kids. Shame.

I think just untagging yourself should do it. I get annoyed that I can't untag from my Kindle or phone. In can only do it from my computer.

Funny, I have a friend who loves to be tagged in everything. Wherever we go, or whatever we do. I think she likes attention. LOL. She tags me in everywhere we go, too.... I don't really care as long as it is tame.

This sounds like the one that the homeless peed in the water and you had to reach in the water for the box, sort of like reaching into a toilet bowl. Lots of fun, maybe even a blue diamond box altho I really don't remember for sure about the BD. lol :)

An underwater "box" has to be weighted correctly, or it will float.

Either that or tethered to a rock......Team We're Your Huckleberry has one ready to go but haven't planted it.......

The little Poos were stamping at the table with the 39 stamp treasure box late in the event. Could they have gotten mixed in with those?
