Oh, I love getting a carton of multicolored eggs at the farmers market. I have a friend with all kinds of ducks, quail, chickens and young children. Teacher sent a note complaining that girl kept insisting there COULD be green eggs and ham.

And thank you.

With all the briers lately

I recently acquired a large S-shaped scar from a very aggressive brier with the largest barbs I have ever seen on a vine. I did get the box though!!

Hi, I planted a hitchhiker in 2008 and it has been going strong but the last person to find it noted the log book was getting full. It was so long ago I don't remember if I put what to do when the log book gets filled. I think I may have put in the directions when "when log book is filled to message me on AQ" but not sure. It is my only hitchhiker.
Thanks

I have the same rice cooker and love it. Most Hawaiians couldn't live without a rice cooker. The rice is rinsed at least 3 times to get all or most of the starch out of it.

Someone should make a list of trails that cross this border. I, at least, would be interested. I know, that by treaty, there is a clear-cut border. This article from Canadian Geographic says 6 meters, but I thought it was wider. You can clearly see the clear-cut border on any aerial images.

Actually putting that total number of hours per week in was a little bit of a wake up call. That's all of those hours sitting on my tookus instead of moving. Granted 40 hours are spent at work and we are TIED to our computers but dern, I need to cut out the computer on the weekend...unless I am researchng clues, of course.

I'm also a little concerned for Edith--what exactly did he have her sign?

If I understood correctly (and there is no guarantee that I did), he gave Edith some control over his business interests in London for when he goes to Germany.

Forgive my ignorance as I have never heard of doing that, but is it rinsed before or after cooking? I was going to assume before, but I really do hate to assume.

The letterbox hybrids that I have found have either a store-bought stamp, or....nothing. I guess some people think if you use a GPS plus write a clue that makes it a LB hybrid. One owner even added a comment on the description that the "stamp police" informed him that he needed to add a stamp after he planted it without one.

That's been my experience too.

The stamp part confuses many LBH owners. They tend to throw any stamp in, grudgingly because it's required. 'Here you wacky letterbox enthusiasts, here's a Disney stamp, this will float your boat and I get to have an LBH icon in my repository of cache hides and people will give me lots of favorite points because I'm giving them a rare icon for their repository of cache finds.'

Still, I like geocaching, just about as much as I like letterboxing. I try to make geocaching a creative experience for myself and people who find my caches. I've found enough creative swag and creative geocaches (just not letterbox hybrids), too keep me interested for the last 12+ years.

ATVRacer (hubby) has a homebrew kit. He's tried one batch, but it ended up exploding (should have started it in the 6 gallon bucket instead of the 5 gal carboy.) He still has another batch waiting to try.

Aiphid is an avid homebrewer. I'm still waiting to try his hard cider.

That would be before just to get rid of some of the surface starch. However I don't believe you have to do it with the parboiled rice like Uncle Bens. Even then, rinsing your rice is only a suggestion not a hard and fast rule.
