We grabbed three of these by passenger jumping out while driver went around the block.

Somehow for some reason, this made me chuckle. Makes me think of a fun time in downtown Knoxville with the stooges.

Ive been looking at them on ebay for at least an hour then I carved my initial as a love token & make quisps.

Aren't they cool? I had never heard of love tokens before and found them fascinating! They kind of remind me of pathtags!

This is so going to be inccorperated into my Victorian Calling Card LTC!!!!!

You know, the more I look at the different carved images on these love tokens, the more I think this would make a great LTC tracker!!! Anyone interested in hosting one? I'm already hosting a couple of swaps and don't want to host any more until the spring.

I wonder if I could put little tabs like "place tracking label here"..

.

And just beneath that is where they'll place it, lol. Like "pictures, please don't bend" which always get bent to fit in your mailbox!

I have one that was passed down from my great grandmother to my grandmother and then me. It is a one dollar gold coin and was engraved with the dates of birth of the first two Amanda's 1871 and 1891. I have it now on a charm bracelet.

What about getting the larger blocks? 15x10 cm for $4.80 (instead of 5x5 cm)

Looks like shipping for the larger blocks is similar to the smaller blocks and per cm2 the cost is cheaper.

Thanks for all the advice! I use the printer at work specifically because it is a laser and my home printer is inkjet. Hence, why I can't use parchment paper, everyone gets nosy when someone uses non-standard paper. I think first, I am going to buy a new bottle of acetone. The one I have is from an old school project and is more than a few years old. Then, thanks to all of your help I will be experimenting with irons and wet transfers. If it dries out as fast as you say, I won't bother with the blender pen. Here in Arizona, my ink pads dry out in a matter of days...
I can't wait to get started!!! Thanks!

There was some mewing coming from the woods/hedges earlier today when I returned home. I went to explore and one of my neighbors noticed me looking. I told him that I heard a meow. Mama cat and boys have been in my apartment technically since Monday evening. Then he heard the meow. So, for the next few minutes looking for the missing addition to her litter of kittens. The baby was on the other side of the fence. Other neighbors came out. He went to get the kitten. My other neighbor received him/her from the other side of the fence. I grabbed mommy and brought her outside to see if she accepted the baby - she did!

So, the family of cats has increased by one. They've turned the tables and taken a koalacat hostage!

You didn't mention that I was with you

While searching out the "Birds of Breakheart" in Saugus on this BEAUTIFUL fall day, we
spied a Peregrine Falcon perched on the Pearce Lake island!

We would be "Me and my favorite treehugger", out for a hike on a GORGEOUS New England fall day!

and that it was the first time either if us has seen a falcon!! (Which was super fun for me, not just b/c of seeing the falcon, but also to be with Pete--a knowledgable bird guy--for his first time spotting one!!) :-)

YUP - First time ever! It was actually the different call which I heard that first peaked my interest. I'm glad we had binoculars in the BOTH backpacks, and we were lucky that it stayed perched for so long that we could get a great ID on it. I'm THRILLED that you were there with me to see it!!! ;o)

bonus box not showing up...

Planted a group of boxes recently. The sixth box has a clue in it to a bonus box. When setting up the bonus box, entered the box number of the sixth box, as instructed, so that bonus box would show up when a find was recorded on the sixth box. The first finder of the sixth box logged their find and I told them to do another search so they could log the bonus box. Doesn't show up. Neither box has any other restriction. Any idea what I did wrong? Thanks.

More on the problem..... My first finder discovered that the bonus box does show up but only if they do a search of 'Planet Earth'. I tried to correct this but the bonus box entry path does not have a location page. Any ideas?

Sounds like there is no problem. I double checked and mine are the same way. Make sure you leave the AQ number on your clue for the last box. The finder can write it down and log it easier. Or they will be able to find it in your logbook once they have found the other box.

That is how mine show up, as well. I had a few people find it confusing, so what I did was include instructions with the AQ # of the box, IN the bonus box on one of them, and on the clue slip (they have to take the paper with them on this other box). I still don't get everyone logging them but I no longer email people, unless they ask me about it.

Also they can do a search of your boxes and it will show up, IF you have your plants set to public.

That's really weird. There is a bonus box that I haven't found yet, but I was able to do a simple search, just with the name, because I'd already found the parent box. The location is planet earth, just as you say, but the box name brought it up with no trouble at all.
