What a coincidence, I am a FORAYCH alias!
If this degenerates into a public argument, it would make sense, since an anagram of "FORAYCH/Wassa" is "A Showy Fracas".
Just in case you were wondering.

I don't know which scares me more - that the two of you are one uber-person, or that you knew that anagram!

Tracking sticker insanity

I bought tracking because two of my trackers recently went m.i.a.
Id never bought it before so I didnt know. I didnt think about it. But they slapped a huge sticker on the envelope!!!!
And another one for 11cents because i didnt have enough postage.
~~~~~breathe!~~~~~~
So, I prepare where the stamps go, & where the label goes, & I prepare the flap on the back.
But what about all THIS madness!!!??? There is no room left to prep on the envelope for something that size.
Maybe prep it so the whole front comes off at once?
Awe hell. I dont know!
It is a mess, I agree. I've had a few of these, lately. I cover the entire front of my envelope in tape, but even with that, it is hard to remove those buggers. If you added a second strip in addition to the entire front being covered in tape, they might be able to grab that strip of tape and pull the tracking label off...BUT.. the more tape you add, you may end up with more postage. I would just cover the front of the envelope and let it fly....
Sorry you have had TWO packages go MIA. I think I would cry!
YAY! I just placed two Richland County boxes yesterday! We tried to do the boxes at Malabar Farm a few weeks back and we struck out pretty majorly. I will have to look up your boxes! :) We're going to the Ohio Bird Sanctuary this weekend for the fall festival so the kids and I will be caching and boxing around the Lexington area. Hope to see you around some time!
I put extra tape on the side of the labels because that's where they ALWAYS have placed it before. Today I was prepared for it with the extra tape..guess what..they found a new place for the label today. Back at square one.. I wonder if I could put little tabs like "place tracking label here"..
I bought them, although mine are bigger than these look, and I think Kirbert got some. I haven't carved on them yet, they are VERY heavy, thus the high postage. I got a dark pink & dark purple & I'm not sure if the transfer is going to show up. We'll see. It did take a long time to get them, I think over 2 weeks.
You know, the more I look at the different carved images on these love tokens, the more I think this would make a great LTC tracker!!! Anyone interested in hosting one? I'm already hosting a couple of swaps and don't want to host any more until the spring.
I have one that was passed down from my great grandmother to my grandmother and then me. It is a one dollar gold coin and was engraved with the dates of birth of the first two Amanda's 1871 and 1891. I have it now on a charm bracelet.
