Obviously you haven't found the one he hid in the casket yet.

Which one, the clue hidden in the casket or the box hidden in the casket?

I'll carve the entire surface into a morphing seamless image(s).

And it would be too beautiful to stamp!

Yeah, but what's worse? One who would plant that, or one who would go looking for it??

Yes very quickly. If any other spots open up or this happens again, keep me in mind. It sounds fun and I am from Mt. Hood, Oregon.

I can't wait to hit Key West in a couple months. There was nothing there when I "lived" there, but now there's a nice new selection.

That would be kind of cool to have one that says my trailname with my siggy in the center like those! I would totally put that on my car. I usually have a box hidden on my vehicle and an event coming up soon...

You can also describe the letterbox as a sort of passport stamp, which a business owner may be more receptive to than a "scavenger hunt" in his store. People carry around their logbook, or passport, and have to go to places to acquire stamps for their book. Like the National Park passport program. The stamp proves that they went to the shop. What's not to like, from the perspective of the shop owner?

There are a bunch of sequels -
  1. 2 Dust and Decay
  2. 3 Flesh and Bone
  3. 4 Fire and Ash

and there are -
  1. 1.5 In the Land of the Dead
  2. 2.5 Dead and Gone

I have read 1 and 2 - I really enjoyed the series so far!

The sequel is "Dust & Decay"--looks like it was released last September! Wish I hadn't just read the description on Amazon--got a bit of a spoiler! Though I was suspecting....

How do you approach (or e-mail) a business owner or manager about putting a letterbox at their place of business?

stealthily?

My husband and I will be visiting Seattle March 21st - March 24th. The last time I was out in Seattle was a few years ago, so I'd love recommendations for boxes/areas to go letterboxing! My goal is to make it to at least one of the islands via ferry. My husband's also a bit of a foodie, so restaurant recommendations would also be appreciated! Also, if anyone would like to meet up, I'd be up for that.

I saw that there's an event in Olympia that weekend, but I don't know if we'll make it out there for it (we might have free tickets for The Mousetrap that night - which I've always wanted to see!).

We can create one saying whatever you would want it to say. You would see a proof of it before we ever make it so you are sure you are happy with it before you get it.
